After almost 2 years of not posting here...
The time finally came that I got so busy that I barely have time to brush my teeth... much less update this blog. If you are reader, please make sure you check out my tumblr for it has more updated posts than this blog.

Thursday, May 7, 2009 - Slice Of Life
Life is a piece of cake. I know not everyone would agree on me on that saying and I can’t blame them. I don’t know how to bake a cake, nor do I like eating cake.
You may not know how to bake a cake either, but we can try, and maybe in the end, we’ll just end up having a cupcake or pandesal. So let’s say we just bought one from your favorite cake shop (cheers for lazy people). Sometimes, there are people, who really don’t know cakes, like me. So I’ll probably have someone with me picking the right cake for the occasion or if I don’t have someone with me, I’ll probably just get the cheapest cake around… again we’ll probably end up with a cupcake or a pandesal so you better find someone who really knows cake who can come with me.
You can’t eat a whole cake alone. Well, actually you can, if you’re a glutton, attempting a world record or you have it on your daily diet. Otherwise, you won’t and you’ll have someone to share it with. For me, like I said, I don’t like cake. But if someone eats it, I’ll probably end up eating some myself as well. And since I bought the cake, you can do the honors of slicing them to even (I repeat… even) pieces the way our parents use to do it.
After pretending how really good the cake was (or if it was really good then we wouldn’t be pretending at all). We’ll realize that this cake was so good we’ll buy pizza next time.
Life is a piece of cake.
For me, life is worth living when you share it with someone. The look on their satisfied faces gives me a boost knowing that I was a reason for their happiness. The times that you hate what’s going on in your life doesn’t really matter much when you share those moments with the people around you
